    Bunge La Mwananchi is an independent online public forum for Kenyans to discuss matters of public interest. We are NOT the official Parliament of Kenya. We are a citizen-led platform.
  2. User Accounts
    You must be 18 years or older to register. You must provide accurate information. You are responsible for your password and all activity under your account. One account per person.
  3. User Conduct – Our House Rules
    To keep debate healthy, you agree NOT to post content that:
  • Is hateful, tribal, inciting violence, or discriminatory
  • Is false, misleading, or deliberate propaganda
  • Is pornographic, harassing, or bullying
  • Infringes on another person’s privacy or copyright
  • Is spam or unsolicited offers
  • Reveals private personal data (ID numbers, phone numbers, home addresses) of others without consent
  • Breaks the Laws of Kenya
    We uphold freedom of expression under Article 33 of the Constitution of Kenya, but we do not allow hate speech or incitement.
  1. User Content
    You own what you post. By posting, you give Bunge La Mwananchi a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your public posts on the platform and our social media channels. You can delete your posts at any time.
  2. Moderation
    We have community moderators. We may remove posts, edit titles, issue warnings, suspend or ban accounts that violate these Terms. Moderation decisions are final but you may appeal via admin@bungelamwananchi.com
  3. Intellectual Property
    The Bunge La Mwananchi website domain, logo, and website design are our property. You may not copy or use them for personal or private gain without our permission.
  4. Disclaimer
    Content posted by users is the opinion of the user, not of Bunge La Mwananchi. We do not endorse user opinions. We do not guarantee that information posted is accurate or complete. Use your own judgment.
  5. Limitation of Liability
    To the fullest extent allowed by law, Bunge La Mwananchi will not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform or from user-generated content.
  6. Termination
    You can delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
  7. Governing Law
    These Terms are governed by the Laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any dispute shall be resolved through mediation in Nairobi, and if not resolved, by the courts of Kenya.
  8. Changes to Terms
    We may update these Terms. We will notify you on the platform. Continued use means acceptance.
